That guy was quite an entertainer, and you couldn't help but notice him on the podium during live shows. I certainly don't know his name, but if you listen to the full show he actually has a speaking role just before the closer. You could hear him clear as a bell from the top of the stands, and there was no amplification in those days! I think most people dont give it a chance because Crown didnt win, and the actual show gets lost in the mix. People need to realize its not BDs fault that the judges liked them better.
