My brother and I also attended the 85th Macy's parade (Weather was perfect) Drum Corps East had an All Star Corps for 2 parades, Sunrisers (DCA) also did a number of Macy's Parades, and there was always that all-girl corps entrant from Monroeville, GA or somewhere down South. TV coverage on all networks this year was awful according to my extended family and friends; Almost no marching musical units or balloons shown on TV. "Broadway/Hollywood productions and singers, dominated by Country Music were pre-taped and inserted into the TV viewing. That would be the Monroe Girls Corps from the small town of Monroe northeast of Atlanta.
