doublc Posted February 20, 2017 Share Posted February 20, 2017 All 3 of my kids were exposed to drum corps at a very early age, as I used to take them with me to Surf rehearsals from the time they were about 8 years old. My oldest son and my daughter were both woodwind players, so marching wasn't really in the cards for them, but my younger son, Ryan, marched with Surf from 2001-2010. For those of you who had kids march, I'm sure you'll agree with me that there was no greater pleasure in the world than seeing your child step out on the field!
