Scatfish
When I was in England everything seemed to be quite a bit higher priced. However the shop clerks noticed that I was much to good looking to be English and gave me certificates for refunds of the VAT. It came out to something like 25 to 30% of the price of everything I bought there and I got the money at the airport before I left. the only thing that they didn't refund the VAT on was my QPR jersey. Apparently there was no value added on that. Yeah, I'd say we definitely have a higher cost of living over here though from my experience of both sides of the pond. I have seen before about tourist being able to claim some of the VAT back, which I suppose helps promote people buying so I'm all for it! As for the QPR top, I'm no football fan but I agree that there wouldn't be no value added to that ;)
