That movie glorified and promoted the virtues of the Jazz music genre, and eschewed its loss of popular appeal as its conceptual music theme messaging. DCI Corps ? They don't play Jazz as much as they used to anymore either now. (BD, the DCI standard bearer, especially ) So I think you hit the nail on the head that " La La Land " is probably a future non starter for consideration for any DCI Corps ( despite the movie's off the charts popularity with most music goers around the world .)
