Their final run was their worst of the week, they crashed into poles all over the place, seem to recall a tenor went down or crashed into something too. They came out shaken (as told by a member) and they never got it going. BD has a rep as delivering on finals night (and they really did last year, even in 2nd) but it was an uncharacteristically bad run. You may catch a little on the video but they show the corps in their best light so it doesn’t tell the tale. Their ending didn’t help them either. People complaining about close placement from watching the video’s shouldn't. GE is live and the videos are produced. Now you may think they had a better show and corps that year, fair enough as they did win Prelims (their best run of the week) and dithering over .25 points is usually subjective but they gave it away that night. Most corps have their amps turned down way too low for my tastes. Cavaliers '12 is one of my favorite shows. Marching cymbals is a waste of space on the field. Blue Stars looked better in grey.
