Corps That Still Have Spots to Fill

Recommended Posts

Cadets are accepting video auditions for one very outstanding tuba (playing and marching). All stellar candidates will be invited to the next full camp in April.

Cadets have already contracted 35 color guard spots and look to fill the remaining 5 with phenomenal performers who play well with others.

Seems they were only marching 35 initially and filled all spots in nov. They had a record turnout for guard BUT now seems they will march 40 and I think cut brass down to 75. They have to accommodate the 8 vocalists.

They may already have done this, but it seems some corps still want to march five quads and nine snares instead of 4&8 when the need for section cut backs takes place.

80-75=5

where are the other 3 coming from?  (esp. if they're marching 40 guard!)
