With all the rehearsal time this week, any intel on what's in store?  Was great to see the momentum in San Antonio!

and you'd be wearing those PR half capes over your PJs in those days clashing through the house with the pot covers. And throwing the rolls of t-paper up to the ceiling..

...just as the phans did from the upper decks at Finals cascading all below as the corps threw the colored streamers from the cuff pocket in their pants to mimic fireworks at the end of 1812. They knew musical complexity, GE, and entertainment. But of course, a much younger Cesario was their program director those years.

We played a show in 92, somewhere around July 4, where actual fireworks went off in the background, during 1812. Talk about GE...

frequently happened at the Bristol, RI show; now to a lesser degree at the same show moved to Cranston.

that's so Hopkins and the Madison championships with the firemen of 9/11 and the sirens....

actually it was a HS band of 120 members from a high school of 900 that out performed every band in the state for 37 consecutive years. this was in the 60s

It would not surprise me in the least if the recent creative trends deployed in DCI shows are more for the benefit of the design staff than the marching members.  

Today's DCI is like watching BIG 10 college sports vs. the Olympics.
