Terri Schehr
I think it's gotten better. The first few years at championships, they were so loud that our seats shook and my ears started to crackle. I thought they'd made me deaf. One corps in particular was the chief offender. Like I said though, it's much better now.

It wasn't them but it was that time period. I literally had my hands over my ears. It hurt.

Mikey408
I heard a rumour that Andalusia was starting to go back to a Bb Contra bass, bigger bore, and heavier sound than the marching tuba. The sound of 16 of them at FFF would mean no goo, and a little edge too!

I'll have to ask Vance if he's aiming at finding the mandrel for the K-90 bell like he found the K-20 sop bell for his trumpets.

Seems there are quite a few changes in the works be it staff, uniforms, corps now in world class...etc. So, here is a request for the staffers, instructors, creators and designers. How bout keeping the BASS SYNTH parts (goo) to an absolute bare minimum in 2017? I know it's nearly impossible for you to give up all this so at the very least....drop the volume to 'Near' zero. Like teenagers in on their fathers stereo and can't control themselves. Maybe better illustrated in actual video/audio. see below (I did not post video ) From 9:10 - 9:34 play from 9:10 to 9:34 If the mods will pin this, then all the design staffs that come on DCP looking for suggestions on electronic design will surely see it. This way, when they start their show design this weekend, not only will they have this great idea, they can make sure to incorporate it into their 2017 programs. Mods - please pin!
