friendwhale Posted June 19, 2017 Share Posted June 19, 2017 2007 - Cadets If DCI was a video game, this show would be the tutorial 2008 - Cavaliers Mainly because of the drill (Phantom is not very far behind) 2009 - Blue Devils Each section stood out in some way 2010 - Cavaliers It's memorable and unique and also BOOM SHAKALAKALAKA 2011 - Cadets This is currently my most-listened show 2012 - Bluecoats This is the only show I remember well from this year 2013 - Blue Devils (Crown is not very far behind) HOLY COW THAT DRUM SET STOLE THE SHOW 2014 - Crown There was a lot going on here and I liked it all 2015 - Bluecoats The ending gave me the ultimate adrenaline rush. Tough year to choose, Bluecoats and Cavaliers are also very worthy. 2011 - Cadets, Angels & Demons 2012 - Not sure I really liked anybody this year 2013 - Crown, e=mc2 2014 - Bluecoats, Tilt. 2015 - BD, Ink 2016 - Bluecoats, Downside up. I find the adjudication of champions to be pretty faithful to what I consider to be the most entertaining/pleasing shows in a year. I don't want to have it, but I do. It persists year after year. Maybe this year it will subside (if those steps don't seem too much like an obvious, too-soon, copy-paste of Bluecoats' ramps).
