Corps at the Crest - San Diego

Recommended Posts

The first of three nights of drum corps in SoCal takes place on Friday, June 30 at El Camino High School in Oceanside. Sponsored by Pacific Crest, this is a fantastic show in an 'intimate setting' and great line-up.

As of this writing there are limited tickets available online at https://pacific-crest.org/tickets/index.php?cPath=1_2 and it is quite possible the show will be an SRO sellout. If you're planning to attend, be sure to get your tickets online (E-ticket delivery).

Here's the published schedule:

Anyone at this show tonight?

If so, they'll be disappointed. The show is tomorrow.

What a great lineup!  Oceanside is a fun place to see a show.  Cooler than the inland shows and downtown has fun places to hang out before and after.

I'll be there tomorrow.  Gotta remember to wear jeans instead of shorts though...

Making the long drive down from Santa Barbara. Can't decide whether to scope out the lots or see what PC and Mandarins are bringing this year...

I'm guessing BD opted for the extra rehearsal day. With the exception of BD, the lineup tonight is the same as tomorrow at the Rose Bowl..

Will be real interesting to see the Mandarins v Academy matchup. With Crest going on between them, It will give the judges a relatively clean look at both corps. I still think that Mandarins show has a far better design and is far more demanding, but Academy is performing at a higher level. Mandarins have had a few days to clean though. Will be interesting to see...
