Yeah, I have that feeling tonight. In reality, most of the Bloo alumni really don't give a rats ### about scoring, that's mostly the Bloo fans that get excited about that part. All we care about is how entertaining the show is for the crowd. It's been that way for years before I marched, and it will probably be that way for years to come.

True.  But who doesn't really like beating the Yankees every now and then!  Go Blooooo!!!!

Can't fathom any world in which Bloo beats BD in music tonight. Bloo have a lot of issues syncing their odd time stuff and their soloists are not on the same level as BD's, and it should impact a lot with both shows leaning so heavily on them.

I agree, Bloo has a much more engaging show, the odd meter horn work needs a bit more cleaning and a more settled feel.

Yeah, that extra beat makes the audience "feel" like somethings off. It works in close quarters, but on the field, with the percussion 50 ft. away, maybe not so much.

Bloo won Music Analysis, which is a step up and they won drums again. Randy Isoda had Bloo first in the Repertoire GE2 sub caption but down .3 in the Performance sub. And Bloo was first in the Content sub for Visual Performance though down .3 in Achievement. That all sounds like BD was cleaner tonight. Setting up for a VERY INTERESTING finish.

Bloo's soloists were much better than BD's tonight. Did you watch the shows? It wasn't even close. Bloo was ON FIRE

Yeah, lots of people are scratching their heads on this one. But, congrats to both corps, they are putting on the cream of the crop this year!

Huh? I think both corps have plenty of "GE"

not sure I could actually pinpoint which corps has more than the other honestly

I think both Bloo and BD have incredible GE. I disagree with those who think BD's GE is somehow inferior to Bluecoats or anyone else. I think BD's GE may be the best in DCI at this point. Seems the judges agree. Going to be a great dogfight all the way to Indy.

GE 1 judge had BD ahead in content by two-tenths so it wasn't all just BD being cleaner.

It'll be a fun couple weeks ahead.

How is GE judged? By what criteria?
