Most of the source music is Keith Emerson's piano concerto (ELP).  BD did it in 85.  Still don't know what those props have to do with the show.  I think it looks like a cluttered mess to me.

Why is Keith Emerson and his Piano Concerto  not mentioned in their repertoire list?

Think they represent struggle in one part and awaking in another part

Please don't use the word Awakening...

Same reason you didnt see Vivaldi last year.

However, I contend the way music has been approached by most all DCI corps over the past decade or so would be described in this manner. It has become more and more rare to hear transcriptions and creative arrangements faithful to the intent of the original composer. Most music in modern corps shows merely borrow from various sources, then chop, cut, and piece together, typically based on visual dictates, which in turn creates new material that no longer treats the chart as an arrangement but becomes a new composition based on some outside influences. The designers of most corps at least have enough respect to acknowledge the genesis of their source material.

If you are that sure it definitely is straight rip of melodies and are 'that' concerned, then contact the X-Men directly and ask them. And if that does not satisfy your inquisitive mind then contact Theodore Presser Publishing Company, who owns the Copyright, and talk to them about why credit is not being given.
