No electronics/synths.  Nothing amped or mic'd.  Valves.  Trombones & french horns.  That sort of thing.

Louder.  But also brasher. Some of that stuff from the good ole days of the '70's is pretty much unlistenable.  Even some of the champions. '78 SCV comes to mind.

I'm not talking about that.  I'm not trying to recreate that. That sound died with the G bugles.  I just want the maximum sound we can have with the instruments we have.
