Inconsistent guard judging

Or maybe the guards are inconsistent night to night and judges are actually judging what's upfront of them :o

the veracity of your observation still does not negate the truth of my suggestion.

I think that would be true if they were all doing the same thing / or we still had the tick system - so that any one night one group would jump and then drop but that is not the case.   They have vastly different books/staging/concepts and the judges are judging them in vastly different ways (IMHO)

Most WGI judges steer clear of judging DCI!

Of the 35 judges that worked DCI finals week, 19 are currently listed on the WGI.ORG judges pages.  This does not account for those that have judged WGI in the past but are not on the current roster.

Of course some DCI judges are not allowed to be judging WGI because they are teaching groups in WGI.

Great research but this discussion is about judges who judge guard not other captions.

OK. 2 out of the 3 judges for the week judge WGI. The one that does not cannot because he teaches WGI.

Chumley, Thompson,    Lentz does Onyx.  Gray certainly involved in WGI guards. Ditto on Kelly whose Skylarks even started the thing.

I take it you judge T&P

What week are you talking about? Because that is not true of this week.

Give me a few minutes and I will do a more comprehensive guard-only look at the official DCI 2016/17 season judge listings.
