Best Last Minute-ish of a Show

Recommended Posts

titl's got to be up there for just about everybody, right?

i know it's not a very popular show, but the end of BD 2000 is pretty energetic.

star 93 has to be in my top 5 as well.

cadets 97, too. the battery at the end of that show, my god.  like 25 yards in 24 counts at the end of a really hard show

okay, so that's a lot. sorry.

I did not realize that "Methods of Madness" was unpopular.

Last minute-ish of 1979 Troopers prelims performance is something I'll never forget. Most spontaneous electric crowd reaction I've ever seen. And I was in Bloomington for '08 Phantom.

BD 2000 is sick!!!! I would be shocked if that show was unpopular. If BDs percussion would have been up to par that year (6th place), we would have had a three corps race for gold. Not saying they would have won nor am i disrespecting Cadets/Cavs, but BD would have made things interesting.

I was in that audience! Your post reminded me of  the craziest finale I can remember (also in Montreal) - the infamous 1982 SCV Bottle Dance reprise that drove the crowd so wild that the horns couldn't hear themselves and ended up with about a one second phase from side to side.

I was marching with The Cavaliers in 1981 -- and I was also with The Cavaliers in 1982 and we heard the out of phase "Bottle Dance" from inside Olympic Stadium as we were getting ready for retreat and scores.
