MikeN
Here we go! Last chance before the Final Exam! Guardians are in a good spot - solidly in the middle, with a chance to make up some ground on the leaders. Visual day yesterday was reflected in their scores; today is "extra brass attention" day. Hopefully the judges can hear it! Mike posted from the DrumScorps app
MikeN
Guardians had their best run of the season. I knew it, they all knew it. I hope the judges knew it... Mike posted from the DrumScorps app
MikeN
Cedar Rapids scores make no sense. Especially compared to Avon tonight. That's the danger of comparing scores from different locations, I think. Mike posted from the DrumScorps app

N.E. Brigand
Huh. Didn't realize till now that River City Rhythm wasn't on the schedule tonight.
N.E. Brigand
Wow. Huge drop for Stentors.
MikeN
Every corps in Avon had ridiculous gains tonight, and every corps in Cedar Rapids lost points except Shadow. Skews the standings - and the performance order Monday - something fierce. Mike
N.E. Brigand
Any chance the judges at Avon Lake were told they could work from a higher ceiling, or the judges at Cedar Rapids were told they should work from a lower ceiling, on the grounds that all the corps who'd been in Sheffield had no score from Friday? Because otherwise their two-score average would be low?
N.E. Brigand
As I said in one of the other threads, the Avon Lake scores actually seem reasonable to me, so maybe the latter?
