It was a great show but it's so interesting to me that it was the show that finally won it all. IMO, 2009 was the best show they've ever put on the field, by a lot. I'm not usually one to challenge BD's championships but that particular year I'll always think 2009 should have been Crown's year.

That is such a cool show, no matter where it finishes. I like it better than the three corps in front of them. So much energy and great music. jwillis35
WOW!! Percussion just threw down. Whew!!! SCV looks much cleaner than they were in Massillon.

Despite introducing me to Church Windows (one of my favorite pieces ever), 2013 was the best brass book and execution I've ever heard a corps play.
rrunyon1
SCV is so good that I am jumping out of my seat! I have loved this show since the beginning of the season. Edited August 12, 2017 by rrunyon1

EXACTLY. And then Crown also had that crazy good show in 2012. It's like when SCV won in 1989 and should have won in 88 and was 2nd in 87/86. Very similar vibe.
jwillis35
Love this ballad. Baritone sounds fab. Guard is amazing, and this music is so relaxing and ethereal. The pit writing is simply incredible.
