And for the 84th year, the Cadets miss performing in either Montana or North Dakota, the only two other States where they have not performed ever besides Alaska and Hawaii. Dave Shaw will have to explain why the Cadets aren't going to Casper. If it's because of how GH ropes cattle and mustangs is anything like how he hauls salmon and such in Seattle, it would be a show in itself! There’s information on the YEA website about how auditonees will have to prepare 32-64 bars of musical theater-ish repoirtoire, and George has said in live streams that they will be mobile, but I don’t believe they’ll be moving as much as guard members. The choir was such a success last season why not more singers again this season. Every corps needs a singer or two right. 1 2

AA is a different personality from his Dad's but many of the same talents. Also noted on that staff listing is the return of Lee Beddis to the Cadets as asst. caption supervisor. With both Beddis and Aungst, that is a lot of super strong focus for the battery. Great note of Tom Eder, recent Cadets' age-out and super person, as a visual tech. He and his Wisconsin family would also make sure that sufficient North End of Bahstahn pizza was available when current corps did Hub shows. This is one, humble, super talented and personable trumpeter who will be a good bridge between corps mms and staff as he's much respected by both. So, baseless speculation time: Beddis succeeds Aungst the elder when Tom takes over for Hop?

A classic is a classic. Glad to hear the tradition continues; the vid says it is the 35th annual.
