 A lot to digest

the new director is a slam dunk for the Cadets, exactly the sort of leader needed to help steady the ship and focus on administration and operations (and importantly) not design. This will be such a welcome change on many levels

the show itself sounds promising

im intrigued

Wait until you hear the percussion

Here's a link to the new John Psathas piece for those too lazy to Google it. It's too bad they're not using the Psathas piece they were originally going to use ("Buyan"), but this one is equally as cool. Never expected The Cadets of all corps playing drum 'n' bass in a show.

I was SUPER jazzed to hear what they'd do with Buyan, and now I'll never know. :57_cry:

I really do not know who he is, but I'm hoping he rights the ship.

Scott is well known to you already by face.

He was the timpanist for the Cadets original award winning 1983 show and also played the Church bells he borrowed from a convent in Sparkhill, N.Y.

He has been the Director of the Crossmen before they moved from Philadelphia.

He has been a DCI show coordinator and field team on the East Coast, Mid-East and championships.

He has been a public high school band director.

Married to Mary, (a Crossmen alum) his daughter marched drum corps as well.

Great  gentlemen. The right person at the right time.

My prayers and best wishes for success are with him.
