No the beginning up until "Guilty" was the historical. The ending was creative liberty as has been discussed on the BAC thread ad nauseum. Now it's all ashes.

Not really. Much of Boston's show... by intent... was never meant to be taken literally as a historical documentary.  Boston opens the show itself with a community's several young people gathering around a pentagram late at nite in the woods. There is no evidence that the young people of 1690's Salem did any such a thing at all. They wern't dancing around a pentagram to Beethoven's " Moonlight Sonata " either, as Beethoven wouldn't arrive on the scene to write this music composition for over a 100 years ( haha!). .. nor several other things depicted in their wonderful dramatic show. But who cares ? Few, if any, DCI shows over the years were ever meant to be looked at thru a history's documentary eyes. I never heard a Catholic Priest yell in that tone of voice, loudly, at Parishioners.., twice ... " Let us Pray!!", and many other things one would never see nor hear at a Catholic Service. But so what. None of these DCI shows are to be taken literally, or historically.

Exactly.  It was not a historical presentation as much as it was a representation of a period in history where hysteria was running rampant.  And in this country, accused witches were not burned as has been pointed out several times and acknowledged several more times.  However, burning accused witches was how the alleged witches were disposed of in Europe at that time.  The design staff, given the creative freedom that had and may not have had previously, were able to present a tale with the pertinent issues highlighted and executed, if you will.  Kudos to them for being able to deliver a creative show like they did.

He said watch for something on their website on Friday, so less than a week.

Must not involve a staff change because that can't be announced until after labor day.  To announce any earlier would result in execution, by fire I assume.
