Probably one of the fan favorites. 11) Boston Crusaders, they will flop after Wicked Games and won't produce anything like it for a while. 12) Blue Stars, they will fight for a finalist spot with Academy and Scouts, and will be victorious. Anyone who knows anything about where Boston has been and how they got to where they are now, wouldn't predict a flop in 2018. I doubt there has ever been a corps in the modern era go from barely making finals at all, to 6th the next season. And a rock solid Sixth, too. Third in guard. No, Boston is not going away. yes, the pressure is on to follow this year up, and it won't be easy. The staff came in with all their back pocket ideas and got to put them into play. Now, you have to start from scratch. It's a real test. But come on, they will again bring almost everyone back, and reload with some elite age outs. They are a real threat to medal.

You make a good point. It's only my opinion anyways. I made this just for fun and for something else to look forward to next season (to see how accurate I am) and I didn't really take this prediction that seriously considering the fact that I only started following drum corps this past January. ThePlanets
I am gonna do it. Competition has been heating up a lot over the past few years with what are now the top 6. I know this is ridiculous and off the wall but I would love a DCI where the top 6 or even 9 finish in an unpredictable order. 1. SCV 2. Bluecoats 3. Cavaliers 4. Blue Devils 5. Boston 6. Crown 7. BK 8. Phantom 9. Cadets 10. Madison 11. Academy 12. Blue Stars 13. Mandarins 14. Crossmen 15. Troopers 16. Colts 17. Oregon Crusaders 18. SOA 19. Music City (if they go world class) 20. Genesis 21. Jersey Surf 22. Pacific Crest 23. Cascades 24. Pioneer I will add explanations later... although I think it's a crapshoot at this point...and... really the Blue Devils are probably going to win again. ibexpercussion
Crossmen make a jump in the standings, and we start having a serious battle for that 12th spot with Mandarins and the Academy being legitimate contenders for finals.
