ajlisko
If I'm not mistaken, the 67 DCA Prelims was the first time Sun had beaten Sky in its history ... the year prior (66 DCA) they outpointed Hawthorne for the first time ... :-)

Hurricanes won the "Big One" (As well as the Legion and Dream Championships), and did it in front of the "Home Town Crowd" in olde Bridgeport. WarriorHal
Did only 10 corps compete in prelims? If so, why? Conn Yankees, Springfield Marksmen, Les Dips, Canadian Commanders, & Reilly Raiders all competed in various DCA contests that summer. N.E. Brigand
I would love to see Hurricanes improve next year. They were in fourth place just five years ago. I thought their jazzy tenth-place show two years ago was delightful.
