DeusExGreenMachina
Just now, oldbandguy said: Mike Rapp...THANK YOU for posting this. I had not heard of this band. AWESOME!!! Agreed. Must've listened to "Hello" a dozen times by now. Fleming's voice is great, and the composition is just breathtaking. These folks performed this well.

They actually played a show tonight. You have to watch their website for show dates, and they all sell out. Definitely a blast. They play Earth Wind and Fire better than EW&F did. That is a big, loud band for a room that small! You sit ten feet from the band.

People complain about the lack of things do to in Indianapolis but, as you so excellently demonstrated, Nashville has lots of great music venues that aren't country. MikeRapp
That's Tom Hemby on guitar, who is also in the Smoking Section. Wonderful person and a world class guitarist. Edited September 3, 2017 by MikeRapp

Most people outside of Nashville have no idea that most of the live music here is not country. And the players really play everything. And have toured with everyone. Sheryl Crow lives here and performs regularly. Peter Frampton, Michael McDonald, the list goes on and on. And really, they all like to just walk on stage and sing a few songs because everyone has played together. 1

Ghost
With our son working at the Opry and his wife working for Hillary Scott, we might visit Nashville more often. We liked what we saw in December.
