Mike Rapp...THANK YOU for posting this.  I had not heard of this band.  AWESOME!!!

Agreed.  Must've listened to "Hello" a dozen times by now.  Fleming's voice is great, and the composition is just breathtaking.  These folks performed this well.

They actually played a show tonight. You have to watch their website for show dates, and they all sell out. Definitely a blast. They play Earth Wind and Fire better than EW&F did. That is a big, loud band for a room that small! You sit ten feet from the band.

And this is just an excellent example of why it would be so great if Nashville had a facility that could handle the DCI Championships.  People complain about the lack of things do to in Indianapolis but, as you so excellently demonstrated, Nashville has lots of great music venues that aren't country.

That's Tom Hemby on guitar, who is also in the Smoking Section. Wonderful person and a world class guitarist.

Most people outside of Nashville have no idea that most of the live music here is not country. And the players really play everything. And have toured with everyone. Sheryl Crow lives here and performs regularly. Peter Frampton, Michael McDonald, the list goes on and on. And really, they all like to just walk on stage and sing a few songs because everyone has played together.

Michael McDonald and his colleagues over the years have a special place in my heart.

Steve Winwood and Justin Timberlake also have homes here.

With our son working at the Opry and his wife working for Hillary Scott, we might visit Nashville more often.  We liked what we saw in December.

Hillary is amazing.
