That's not to downcredit Star, nor anyone saying Star is the better show. I'm just saying I'm actually surprised there's a debate. A lot of good points mentioned about demand though. However, 1989 SCV is far superior in terms of entertainment value and execution on finals night. That said, Star 93 has been given a lot more praise as the years have passed, even though it was not well received through much of the 1993 season.
