totaleefree
This is a good reason for people to come early to Prelims. Without wishing any thing bad for the other class A corps hopefully they will make finals. However there is a chance they might not make finals and they might opt not to do an exhibition at finals. I was glad I came early to Annapolis to catch Heartliner.

shombell
Hi All Cadence are really looking forward to coming over to DCA. I spent the weekend at the DCA meeting in December and was bowled over by the love for drum corps in the room and the friendship offered by all directors. We are aiming to make class A finals of course but if we don't there is no sweat. Thee experience is the main thing. See you all in August.
N.E. Brigand
We have our first score of the year: At the Barnsley contest on Sunday (June 17), Cadence finished fourth, with a score of 57.200. Given that first place was Kidsgrove Scouts with a score of 69.400, and that Kidsgrove has averaged a score of 91.2 in four DCA Finals appearances... ...would it be reasonable to predict that Cadence will score a 79 in DCA Prelims, and thus would probably make Finals? Is a spread in DCUK larger or smaller than a spread in DCA?

Is a spread in DCUK larger or smaller than a spread in DCA? Good question. Unknown. I'd need to see sheets/boxes and figure out the DCUK 'value of a tenth' to have any sort of a half-guess. A 79 would normally be a pretty sweet A score. This season... Lord knows given the entrants in A. Too many solid programs with smart people involved there.
