Williamsport DCA Accommodations

Recommended Posts

What are the accommodations like in Williamsport PA for the DCA in September.  For a small town, it couldn't have that many hotels.  Do I need to look at Lewisburg also?

Williamsport had a huge hotel boom when the gas boom hit the region.

I'll add my 2 cents - Yes, there are a surprising # of hotels in Williamsport, most of them within a short walk of the I&E, etc. venue, as well as a good handful of restaurants & watering holes. The Mrs. & I like the TownePlace Suites, but, from its front door, you can see the Residence Inn, Holiday Inn, and Holiday Inn Express.

AND, we booked three nights at the TPS for less than 2/3 the cost of our room in Rochester the last two years.

We've stayed at another Marriott property.... Fairfield Inn... in town, and it's a nice hotel.  Not directly downtown, but just on the outskirts, and convenient to everything.

unless gas prices jump, it'll be cheaper to commute daily

Thanks all - we have reserved at the Best Western - near downtown-I believe.
