Buccaneers 14th Annual Spring Preview

The Reading Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps and Twin Valley H.S. Band will present their 2018 “Spring Preview” indoor concert on Saturday, May 12, 7:00 p.m. at Twin Valley High School, Elverson, PA. As always, the show will bring a host of exciting active and alumni corps to the stage.

·   Thunder Brigade, Westminster, MD – A DCI “SoundSport” corps bringing tons of excitement to the stage.

·   Blessed Sac/Golden Knights Alumni, Nutley, NJ – An original DCI member corps, GK’s will be recapping their classics.

·   Skyliner Alumni, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ – Continuing their traditions, they put the “f” in “forte!”

·   The Skyliners, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA – One of DCA’s active open class corps, bringing the intensity of their namesakes.

·   Reading Buccaneer Alumni, Reading, PA – Recreating championship excitement from the 1960’s, ‘70’s and ‘80’s.

·   Buccaneers, Reading, PA – One of DCA’s most celebrated and awarded ensembles premieres their 2018 repertoire “HERE TO THERE”

A turkey dinner (with vegetarian option) will be offered in the school cafeteria from 3:00-6:30. Dinners may be purchased at the show.

Spring Preview tickets are available in advance at $17.00 (reserved seating) and $15.00 (general admission), and may be ordered online at www.readingbuccaneers.org/springpreview, or by mailing a check and self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Please make your check payable to:  Spring Preview. Ticket orders received after May 1 will be held at Will Call. Tickets also will be available at the door.

I just learned that the Pulitzer Prize-winning play from 2015, Sweat by Lynn Nottage, which was produced on Broadway last year, is set in Reading.
