That Gettysburg show was where I met the great John Simpson.

He was there with the U.S. Air Force Bolling AFB drum corps guys, who were having a reunion. His car was parked right next to where Barbara and I were parked.  We struck up a conversation with him.... I had no idea what he looked like... when he told us who he was, I was floored.  The guy was/is drum corps royalty.

thats the night i met Fawber....i mean now that he realized I wasn't little "Wallys Boy" anymore

No they went back and changed the article from the Allentown news station  of what is was orginially because she recanted her claim that she showed Sean the texts and emails.  Then she says that he did not see them which is a HUGE difference. The article even had a post mark that said it was updated.

we get it. they added more facts to the source of where said article come from. No one here wants Sean to go down the tubes. You're missing the bigger picture here:

NO ONE here wants the Cadets to fail. We want the former director to fry, and the organization to get it's #### together

We don’t want the victims to be discredited however.

I’ve done some research.

The WFMZ article is not the source, but rather the Philadelphia Inquirer article from the day before, which did not indicate that any text messages were shown to King. The WFMZ article came out the next day, penned by a different author who works for a different news outlet. Who may not have even spoken to Beyer herself.

Thanks for pointing this out. It was becoming very confusing the way it was presented here.

She did a skype interview with the Allentown reporter and  she changed her story.  The Allentown news updated their article to the correct information. Philly did not!

Only time heard him talk was at exhibition at Gettysburg Brass Band festival. He just kept talking about the show we were about to see and the corps. Just sounded like he thought it was a clinic for HSers or friends of Cadets instead of an exhibition show with other corps

Anything that needs explained in this activity without having merit on its own without said explanation, usually doesn't pass muster.

Mike Siglow introduced us at DCA first year at Annapolis and same thing happened to me. Felt like beer league sandlot player talking to a big league hall of famer. All I could think of BigW would kill to be here right now. Thank goodness John is one of the nicest people to talk to.

I was also thinking “please don’t ask me what I play in corps”.

Isn't he a piston-slide bari bugle specialist? I may have did I and E with him also playing there. Was wild to watch him work the horn.
