Board President Scott Swaldo announced that, effective September 1, Mike Scott will assume the position of Bluecoats Chief Executive Officer and Genevieve Geisler will be promoted to Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operations Officer. David Glasgow, who has served as the Executive Director of Bluecoats since August of 2003, has decided to accept a position in the music education products industry. Although he will not be involved in the day-to-day operations of the organization, he has agreed to stay on as Executive Advisor. In addition to his new position with Bluecoats, David will maintain a strong connection to the drum corps activity as he will continue to serve on the Drum Corps International Board of Directors. ...SNIP... So glad to see he will be with them for this season, and no doubt Mike will make the transition a smooth one and continue the pursuit of excellence the Bluecoats always strive for. David has done an amazing job during his tenure and Genevieve has worked wonders in all her financial and administrative roles.
