Plus, they played “Greensleeves” at a more sprightly tempo like we did in ‘78, rather than the funeral dirge tempo of ‘79. I never liked that. I just loved everyone. Lead
1995. Madison was absolutely incredible. Cavaliers' program was impeccable (the double helix...) Cadets were fantastic. I am one who loved Blue Devils that year. Excellent Top 4! Vanguard, Phantom, et al were also fabulous!!

I was described at the time as a 'color guard show with Drum Corps music'. Their winter guard came in 3rd at WGI that year, and they used it to very good effect. Here is a link to the last 3 1/2 - gives a taste of the show 3:37
tommynev
91, 92 and 95 are my favorites. I started marching in 93 when I was 16, so I was in awe of the 91 and 92 years anyways. Looking back now, though, there were so many great shows those years. CBC: ABC's and To Tame the Perilous Skies, Santa Clara: Miss Saigon and Fiddler, BD: Conversations in Jazz and When a Man Loves a Woman, Cavaliers: Advent Collection and Revolution, Madison: City of Angels and City of Angels, etc...
