I’m guessing they’re waiting for DCI due to reasons mentioned above, but I’m not sure. Also, aside from some obvious growing pains early last season, at our house they were pretty good by the end, and WGI coverage seemed solid based on what we watched in the spring. We watch thru Apple TV and (other than early days when they had sound issues) we had no issues with video quality (though obviously not the same as being there). I seem to recall others saying the computer/web based access might have had more issues. Anyone remember more detail about how/which method is best to optimize the feed? I’m cautiously optimistic this year will be even better than last year. FLo got a lot better after the OK disaster last summer, and WGI was spotless this winter

Interesting that they're doing the Akron show. Back when I started following the activity closely (2012), that's where the DCI Tour Premiere was held before they moved it to LOS in 2015. And the show was tape-delayed for its release in movie theaters (and scores were withheld until the end of the broadcast), as opposed to the "live-as-it-happens" format used today.

Jim was driving for The Cadets that season and I was at the theater trying to see if I could spot him. Nope.
BRASSO
Maybe its because I had low expectations to begin with, but on the whole, I was happy with Flo's live streams of shows from last season. There were some technical hiccups along the way, here and there, but it was the next best thing to being there live. For future enhancements, I wish Flo would include a replay feature, so if we were out during the broadcast, or wanted to replay a Corps or two's performance after the show ended we could do so for maybe 24 hours or some such. Good idea since they’ve posted only two events on the app.
