Rt 15 traffic alerts

The lane closures were tough at night with oncoming headlights. Some clown in a delivery truck high beamed me even though i was running the posted work zone limit and pretty shaky to boot from the difficulty of seeing. If I'd have had the chance.... I'd have beat the tar out of him with his arm after I ripped it out of its socket for nearly causing me to stuff the Passat into the K-Rail.

OK... after seeing that map, the whole thing makes a lot more sense.

The huge bridge being built for the river crossover point is well underway.

the top half is on pace. the lower half they are still debating the exact path

Is that where they ran into problems with the ground being able to support the road and/or bridge? Forgot details but something like too much ash they didn’t realize was there.

yup. i think the main issue for resolving it is public domain/environmental concerns. Since my mother in law lives just down 15 from the bridge to nowhere, i'm kept up to date on the doings, or as she calls it " the #### mess they let sit since the 70's.

 

hey it took til 95 or 96 til 581 was finally completed down here
