Interesting design choices. But if it works, it works I guess. Tonight comparing both SCV and BD to themselves from last year, I personally felt SCV changed the most in terms of show design. BD has a lot of moments that I think back to last year, but that's NOT a bad thing. Overall both are very different shows performed at extremely high levels of excellence. just_another_fanatic Posted June 23, 2018 Share Posted June 23, 2018 As always, BD looks to have no weaknesses. A great show that was performed well but lost some steam in the last 1:30 minutes. Compared to Vanguard, their show is a lot more accessible. I have them over SCV by 1.5 tonight. It's the first time in a while where I've reacted "this again?" to a Devils show. I mean, they re-use things year-to-year on the regular (all the championship references last year, the re-use of pieces from previous shows, etc.), but this is the first time it's stuck out. The wobble-dance thing is just...no. It feels like Scott Chandler is Gretchen Wieners and the wobble-dance thing is fetch. Stop trying to make the wobble-dance happen. It's not going to happen.
