But it needs work. They could reduce the voiceovers and let the music phrase together better. The voice overs don't seem to string a 'story' together anyway? Colts rewrote "And a Shot Rang Out" to do this and make their show much better by season's end. Also, while I'm sure there's more to add, they need something that sells the "going to school" as something compelling. But that was actually part of the piece that Crown played. It was in the source music, which is why it made sense in context. Not even the same ballpark. Crown had the emotional pull of introducing the lovers in their ballad, then having them reunited through space and time in the final moments.
