BlueStainGlass
Since we have an off day. Would you say the top 12 has already formed? There has been a consistent gap between the groups in the 9-12 (all jumping each other daily) and the 13-15. Can someone below 12th make their show that much more to contend with those groups or will the current top12 just pull away? It will be interesting to see what happens when mandarins meet up with the people they are scoring with out west. They are definitely performing above the academy but are they a good test of where they will fall into rank.

I don't think the corps have been judged enough and in direct competition to determine where everyone stands yet. And that is exciting. For instance, the Crossmen have only been judged twice. In one show, they were nearly 2 points behind Phantom and in another they were two tenths. Now, they don't compete again until Friday. Madison is another corps that's only competed twice.
queenanne_1536
I think it's likely to be (in order of placement last year) 1. BD 2. SCV 3. Crown 4. Cavies 5. Bloo 6. Boston 7. Cadets 8. BK 9. Regiment 10. Blue Stars 11. Crossmen 12. Mandarins Those are my picks for the top 12.

N.E. Brigand
I'm hoping for one of the corps who hasn't performed yet to surprise us. Last year, Mandarins jumped from 17th to 13th and Boston jumped from 12th to 6th. So let's see a big move, or at least a good scare for this year's top 15, from Spirit of Atlanta or Oregon Crusaders or Pacific Crest or Jersey Surf or Music City or Cascades. SFZFAN
It's WAY to early to even think about this yet. Until the whole field are being judged together nobody knows. 1
