Kristensen is known for his tapes by the general DCI fan I think but the guy is one of the best ones out there when it comes to judging lines. I honestly wish Scott Johnson would stop with the BD and start judging. He would be a great judge! I would miss his lines on the field each year though.

He does WGI finals every year.

We will have to agree to disagree.

I don’t see or hear it.  Design lacking as compared to its peers. Sorry but it’s not a top 5 show .

No.  Not the show... The captions and subcaptions.  Boston is messing with the rankings because they have some contending numbers in specific areas like percussion.  They will be ranked 6th overall (probably), while they are hitting 1,2,3 in some caption/subcaption areas.  That has implications for how the others relate to each other at the top.

Allen almost ALWAYS judges during championships. It's just a question of which of the three shows.

I kinda have a feeling he will since he hasn't since '15.

You never know when someone's drum might go flying

I really do believe that the activity would be better served with much younger adjudicators and not older ones.

The DCI fan side of me 100% agrees with you. The selfish BD honk side of me says no way, ScoJo needs to stay at BD till he drops dead along with the rest of the staff lol. And in the mean time, continue to train, guide, and mentor their successor's so BD has no drop off when the staff does rotate out.

Bac is not close to the corps ahead or behind. Safe bets for

6- Boston

7- Cadets

oh, if I were Cadets, I would not be thinking I was a lock for 7th.  There are some very hungry corps not far behind them

Or a mix of both like we have now. The young adjudicators we currently have will get their time to judge championships once they have gained proper experience
