Flip with Detroit. I have lived South/Southeast of Houston my entire life (I won't say how many years that is, but I was alive when Carter was elected). Heat indexes in Texas start exceeding 100 in May and continue into September or October. While the second half of July thru the first half of August is our hottest time of year, in the past we have seen 100 degrees as early as the first week of June and as late as late September. I can see pushing the show back an hour or 2, but if this is the new standard, I find it hard to believe there will ever be any outdoor shows in the south during the summer moving forward.
