Is it bad that the Blue Stars' show reads better in blue shirts & shorts, rather than their actual uniforms? : (

I felt the same way watching it. Some people are fans of the uniforms, and that's ok, but I am not. I actually enjoyed this performance a lot more than Sunday's.

What, you fancy eastern folk got something against our hayseed styling? You watch...it'll be the next big thing come Fashion Week in NYC.

I'm a North Indiana boy.  Growing up, something got holes in the knees to the point the iron on patches wouldn't hold anymore, you just threw your favorite shorts over and cut the legs.  Leftover bits went to the rag pile.  Sweats, jeans, khakis, even dress pants.

I really like the Blue Stars. And I really want to like this show, but it's difficult for me to do. I hope I enjoy it more when I see it live.

I REALLY like their take on The Carpenters material--some really interesting arrangements. But the other Carpenter material just doesn't grab me as much. Their guard is definitely much improved over last week.

And now we girls wear jeans with holes.  Very stylish.  I wear them all the time.
