FlamDragHero
Who do you guys think the best drumline ever was and why?
flammaster
SCV 75 Because what they were playing at the time they did was just amazing. Also 80, and 82, 27th Lancers for the same reason I really hink the 2001 BD line never got enough credit. They played stuff that was way over the top and Clean too! IMO they won hands down! theneo
the musicality and basic chops of scv this year, i know everyone can say a recent year, but i really think this year will go down in the books.also any old school scv year, get the tribute to fred sanford cd, sit back and be amazed.yeah. ^0^
Smudge
SCV 75, 27th Lancers '80, PR '89, BD '
tamadrummer04
IMO, BD was pretty over rated this year...granted they played clean sometimes, their book is way too "ram as many notes as possible" for me. Musically...Bd's was just...meh... Edited October 14, 2003 by tamadrummer04
just_another_fanatic
I think one of my favorite drumlines in DCI History has to be Blue Devils 1995. The sheer aggression, their drill, their musicality, their technicality, EVERYTHING was out of this world. Others I enjoy: Star of Indiana 1993, Cadets 1993, SCV (any year)
Jd83
Don't forget Bridgemen 1980-83 and BD '82-83. Very clean, fun to watch, and low stick heights.
DCIFanOfAllDivisions
hmmm BD had some good years in the mid 90's... Cadets the past few years (especially the past 2) have been simply amazing
SAFEJS3
I think it is pretty easy... 81 Bridgemen 89 Cadets 91 Crossmen (maybe a bit biased but if you havn't seen us then check it out - I think you'll agree) 92 Vanguard 93 Star 94 Dev's (Maybe the best ever) (I don't know 1996-2002 because I removed myself from the activity) 2003 Vanguard
