This is self-explanatory...

...Remember, this is not your favorite instrument, but the most difficult one you have had to play.

I, personally, voted F. Horn. I have played five of the instruments listed and the F. Horn is the most difficult, even though I chose it as my primary instrument in college.

French Horn is just ...hmm... how to put this nicely... anti-all-element-of-fun-and-personal-enjoyment.

Yes, it's my principal too...Connie (my horn) I still love you, you're still beautiful I just don't like you sometimes....

Trombone too is weird 'til you get used to the whole moving your arm thing.

The rest aren't too partivularly hard to learn, though MASTERING anything isn't easy.

Trombone, mainly because it's not an exact art, unlike instruments with valves. Much harder to play well than the others, in my opinion.

Second is French horn, because all of the partials are so close to each other, that missing those partials seems easy to do. Either that, or the horns at my school just suck.

F horn definately. the partials are way too frickin small. much respect to all french horn players out there.

horn and then trombone......it is the only horn where you can actually play one hundred percent in tune....so my prof. makes us perfect each tuning on each slide position and psuedo-slide position and every darn partial.....and it has payed off....but it sucks sometimes

I have attempted to play the french horn and failed miserably. At least I can manage to play somewhat decent notes on the other brass instruments (keep in mind I'm a woodwind learning brass). Trombone is second, because it has a slide, where all other brass instruments have valves.

I would say Horn, but I'm pretty good at horn and I've conquered all the partials and everything. I don't mean to brag, so don't view it like that.

For me (personally) I would say trumpet, I sound like **** on it, have no upper range and its just an odd embouchure for me.

For most, I would have to say Horn.
