Very few people had video recorders back then and those that did couldn't figure out how to hook it up to the TV. One guy I know video taped the TV showing the DCI broadcast on PBS! Then I stuck my cheapo tape recorder a few inches from the itty-bitty TV speaker. Didn't record people in the house talking (much) but all the tapes had "buzzzzzzzzzz "...
