I played a 29" tymp (biggest) at 15 yrs old, 5'7", 120 lbs. The drum weighed 48 lbs and was carried with STRAPS and a LEG REST! #### you William F. Ludwig! Hair didn't grow on that part of my crotch for about three years after that. Everyone else in the line was older and bigger and it was a senior corps but I was a rookie, so... Good times.
