That is a such a strong statement to make against Yamaha, Pearl, and Dynasty which seem to be the most innovative companies. Especially Pearl. I'm a HUGE fan of Yamaha but I can easily say Pearl holds the crown for innovation. If that statement is about their own product and what they offer now then I can see that being valid but if they mean the whole market that statement is inane. But you're more right that you know ! The only 'new' feature they might see is a special color on the drums. And, from personal experience, they should only have to rebuild 1 set of tenors a day !
