N.C. Delicacies

Recommended Posts

this has probably already been discussed ....

so every region has its local drink, beer, food.

What should I make sure to try when in North Carolina?

any local microbrews to watch out for?

Anything I can try other then a Mint Jullip? (I dont like mint).

I guess that we are in the heart of tabacco country, so I should be able to find some nice local cigars?

How about food?

ribs?

fish?

Help a tourist out.

thanks

I'm from North Carolina and I would have to recommend the pizza or the clams.

Clams? I thought North Carolina was famous for their Mountain Oysters :lolhit:
