Kiwani Kavaliers I think the top 1-3 and 4-7 is still up for grabs. Blue Knights continue their surge up the board. Colts and Crossment will flip-flop until the end. Seattle's hornline will kick in and kick butt. Mandarins have peaked already and on their way down, PC will not maintain their early season edge due to too long a gap with no shows (just one of the consequences of being a weekend corps). Esperanza and Cap Regiment will clean like crazy and make semi's, edging Southwind. Magic will not be able to maintain pace with Esperanza and Cap Reg. Of course, subject to change without notice! Unfortunately though, I think they will end up in 4th which will be the first time since 93 that they have been that low. I don't want it to happen but I'm afraid it will. But "6th place"? No! Falling out of the top 5 has happened to every other perennial top 5 corps since 1990: Cadets (1991), SCV (1990, 1992-1993, 1995-1996), Regiment (1992, 1998-2001), Cavaliers (1997), Madison (a lot). Just going by the law of probabilities, it has to happen someday, and it could be any day. From everything I have heard this year, it wouldn't be a matter of the Devils being bad, just that everyone else is very good. Blue Devils aren't infallible. No one is. If they have gone that long, they can just as easily double it and go another 30+ years never placing below 3rd. My gosh they went over a decade now not placing below 3rd.
