Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.... Thanks, Jeff <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for the heads up! Sure would be sweet if "The Commandant's Own" U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps joined the festivities!!! I'd also recommend the Arizona Academy Also: any ideas on why the U.S. Army doesn't have it's own Drum and Bugle Corps? I got the recent Marine Corps CD "On The March" awesome! Would love to get a CD/DVD of this interservice Competition if it become available. GO ACADEMY(s)!
JeffUsnaDB
The Marine D&B does the Texas State Fair eveary year, and it usually coincides with this time frame. West Point has a cadet pep band and a professional enlisted band. There was talk of them starting a D&B about eight years ago, but nothing ever came of it. Hope that helps! confused
The U.S. Army has the the "Hellcats" a small but very good Drum and Bugle (no valves) Corps, I've seen them at West Point during the July 4 and Labor Day weekend weekend (1812 Overture) concerts! They are a small group, about 20, but they are impressive!
