They were awesome in Jackson, and I honestly don't see how they ended up with a 79 in Newnan. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think they played bad...it's just that the field got worse as the night wore on and if you were a later corps then you had problems. Obviously the judges couldn't see or figure that out and there isn't a 'handicap' in drum corps like in golf! Impulse proved that they are that good by the better playing conditions in SC. My daughter(bass3/OC) is friends with two of the snare drummers from Impulse and they were very upset with their score considering the very bad playing conditions. It had poured before!
