Marching Mallets
NY SCORES DIVISION II East Coast Jazz 90.100 Fever 87.350 DIVISION III Raiders 80.250 Allegiance Elite 76.100 Capital Sound 75.900 Lake Erie Regiment 69.400 Citations 67.500 Targets 49.700 Looks like a true battle on Tuesday for the top 3 spots in Division 3 in Brockton PLUS Division 2 looks like the most competitive it has been in years, Some corps that were early season picks to win could end up just making finals, plus if the West Coast had come out, who knows what would have happened! FrankBeMe
Head to head July 27 Cap Sound 72.70 +5.96 AE 66.75 July 30 Cap Sound 77.475 +6.675 AE 70.800 Aug 1 Cap Sound 80.5 +7.9 AE 72.60 Aug 4 Cap Sound 75.90 -.2 AE 76.10 What's most amazing about this is that the spread between Cap Sound and AE was growing.........but this does tell me that nothing's changed in II/III judging...scores all over the place....corps you beat by 10 points all season (including the day before) suddenly beats you by 5 the next day Edited August 4, 2005 by FrankBeMe
Marching Mallets
How does Cap Sound go from an 80.5 to a 75.9 in the matter of two days?!?!? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This might be the first time Cap and A E and the Raiders have met this year. mdsnsctfan
Nope.....Raiders vs Cap Sound happened first on July 29..Raiders up 2.10.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just found out that Cap Sound had some more problems with Vehicles on the way to the show, which may have affected the performance. Their semi-tractor broke down at the school they were staying at, so they had to load all the equipment (pit drums horns guard podium everyting) onto the busses (one of them they just bought from Cavies)....... That sucks, they've been having a TON of problems this year. Good Luck to them the rest of the season!! We'll be cheering for you!!! GO CAP SOUND!! arno0940
I saw Allegiance two nights ago in Kitchener.....and they are good...very demanding and mature show. Kids are executing it well too. They do have some cleaning to do in the next week....but they will fair well out east.
